Chris Coleman, Principal & Investment Manager
Chris Coleman was born a "numbers guy." He grew up in and around business and has always been instilled with an entrepreneurial spirit. Chris is a native of Scottsdale, Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Always a big picture thinker, Chris went into the family business immediately after college. He worked beside his father as Vice President of Continental Flooring (1986-1999) gaining knowledge and honing his leadership and financial management skills.
Chris' commitment to excellence, vision and intuitive calculative logic helped grow the business by 600% in the first 12 years he was with the company. Today, Chris is President of the company and Continental Flooring boasts over $21 million in annual sales. In addition to his leadership role, Chris manages and invests the company's excess funds, achieving an almost unprecedented average in annual returns of 30% over the last five years.
In 2003, Chris founded Grindstone Investments and continued his savvy returns as the Managing Partner. He has had equally impressive returns with his own portfolio, prompting him to take a closer look at his ability to analyze trends and understand the market. Over time, it became clear that Chris' talents could be developed in a more strategic way across the board, leading him to become a Qualified Investment Adviser and founding Invasor Capital in 2013.
