We are inspired by winners.

Our namesake is inspired by the winning Thoroughbred racehorse, Invasor (pronounced in-va-SOAR). This horse finished his racing career with a record of 11-0-0 and career earnings of $7,804,070.  We like those kinds of numbers and we understand that kind of winning record.
At Invasor Capital, our general belief is that capital markets are efficient in equity valuations over the long term, but can present numerous profitable entry and exit points over the short term.  Market sentiment, industry momentum, a herd mentality and technical pricing delimiters all impact the short term trading range of equities.  Given these external factors, a security’s trading value may diverge materially from its intrinsic value in the short and intermediate terms, but will generally follow its intrinsic value over the long term.  The Investment Manager’s philosophy seeks to exploit these short term price gyrations while also capitalizing on long term positive fundamentals.

The trading decisions of investors who lack the diligence, knowledge or desire to estimate and invest based on intrinsic company value are often governed instead by these external price drivers, including emotions such as greed and fear.  Greed can cause investors to purchase securities which have risen in price with the hope of not missing out on future gains.  Bad news or recent price declines often cause fearful investors to sell securities at any price, regardless of intrinsic value.  This type of natural pricing volatility creates investing opportunities via an equity option writing strategy that may not be well understood or available to the average investor.  The Fund seeks to profit through the generation of option premiums by taking advantage of the price movement caused by equity volatility and mispricing.
